- Browser Local Storage: All your income, debt, asset, and projection data
- IndexedDB: History and undo/redo states
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to backup to Google Drive.
How to verify our privacy claims
Don't take our word for it. You can confirm that the app never sends your financial data anywhere:
- Disconnect from the internet after the app finishes loading — every calculation, chart, and projection still works because all logic runs in your browser.
- Open your browser's DevTools → Network tab, then add an asset or debt. You will see no outbound API calls carrying your financial data; only static asset loads and (if you enabled them) anonymous analytics pings that contain no financial fields.
- Inspect Local Storage (DevTools → Application → Local Storage → this site's origin) to see exactly what is stored, in plain JSON, on your own device.
3. Google Drive Integration
If you choose to use the Google Drive backup feature:
- We request access only to files created by this app (drive.file scope)
- Your backup is stored in a folder named "mynetworth.today Backups" in your Google Drive
- We cannot access any other files in your Google Drive
- You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account settings
4. Cookies
We use minimal cookies for:
- Essential site functionality (theme preferences)
- Analytics (if enabled)
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use these third-party services:
- Google Drive API: For optional cloud backup (only if you enable it)
